Established in 1999 as part of the Pikes Peak Mental Health Center, our mission is to conduct behavioral healthcare research projects within the PPMHC with universities, foundations, and government agencies by actively seeking relationships with them for positive results. We then collaborate with these partner organizations to further the education of professionals and build public awareness on issues vital to behavioral healthcare in the community. PPMHC serves 13,000 clients and provides over 100,000 client contacts in service every year with a staff of over 400 people in El Paso, Teller and Park Counties. Our consolidated operating budget is $30,000,000.
